To empower families to bike by providing education, organizing community building events and advocating for safer streets.

 

Who We Are

A coalition of parents, community organizers and educators who love biking. We envision a city where all children are able to safely ride their bikes. 

What We've Achieved

  • Providing support, expertise and resources in our Facebook group of over 5,000 members

  • Developing a toolkit and training to support Bike Bus Leaders across Chicagoland and beyond

  • Our incredible volunteers have organized hundreds of family bike rides in communities across Chicagoland

  • Hosting various community events, such as Chicago Family Bike Fest, attended by hundreds of families looking for biking fun and resources

  • Organizing the adventurous Family Bike Campouts and day trips

  • Supporting and winning various advocacy efforts that improve safety for all on our streets
